Which mainly consisted of being thrown out of arcades for playing too long, (you might think they actively encouraged this but if you don’t pay and just scav off other people by saying "Hmmm, isn’t that Michael Jordan" and nicking there credits on their machine, they don’t wanna know!) and managed to get a glimpse of the N64 scene in Boston. I’m sure that loads of Ninny fans over here are aware of how little space high street shops are giving to my beloved N64. But over there you wouldn’t even begin to imagine that that was happening. It equals and usually is allocated MORE ‘floor space’ than the PlayStation. Instead the Dreamcast is the one being ‘downsized’ in the US of A. This goes to show that the phrase "Stupid American" is completely untrue as it’s THEM that are keeping the N64 going and not us Brits who go in for PlayStations. If it weren’t for the American and Japanese markets, contrary to what you might think, the N64 would be dead by now.
So as far as I’m concerned the N64 is still nowhere near dying out and if anything, with games engines becoming more and more advanced, the futures bright, the futures Nintendo.
P.S. I’m sure Orange™ are gonna sue for that!
Cheers! Editor
I managed to pick up "Point Blank 2" second hand back then for only £5 and CrashBandicoot3-Warped for only £12...which wasnt bad considering I bought them at Electronic Boutique (Known as EBX in the States).
Unfortunately I couldnt pick up any N64 games as I dont have a US gamesconverter for my N64, I really wanted NFLBlitz 2000, a great game for the 64.... unfortunately SR only stock it for the Playstation and Dreamcast.
