I'm a huge fan of REM, there albums are excellent, infact i've got automatic for the people on right now (out of time finished ten minutes ago) anyway, i think they're excellent. I'm well aware that the lead singer is gay, but i recently heard he is also HIV posotive. Is this true? can someone explain, is this true or a load of Jeremy Beadle?

Counting Crows always promote pamphlets and booths supporting people who have got AIDS though, so it doesn't really mean anything, just that they wanna do their bit to help.
Tried a few searches over the internet and seems as though its all just rumours. Nothing Solid. He/They seem to have done alot of concerts/speeches helping people with HIV/AIDS.
I don't think he has. It's something that is usually mentioned when you hear about them, becomes common knowledge if you know what I mean. I could be way off but that's just what I think.
