Sitting here in the front lounge in my house I hear some birds squieling outside, I think nothing of it at first...
I then remember that we have a blackbird nesting in our garden so I decide to go out back and look to see what's happening expecting to see a cat pestering them...
I then see a baby bird laying on the floor with a magpie over it with the two other birds in the trees making a racket!
I say to myself in a kinda worried way, "Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!" As I run outside and put it back in the nest...
I'm rushing this now as the magpie has just returned and sucessfully got away with one of the chicks, there are only two left...
I'm loading my BB gun...

I saw the magpie flying off with the two blackbirds chasing after it and making a racket...
I looked into the nest and there are three chicks... (Don't be immature!)
I don't know if it got one, or if the birds were just being protective after what it had just done...
I'll never know, until a neighbour tells me that they had a dead bird in the garden...

i had about three birds nests in my garden, when i came out i say about 5 dead birds on the floor, and a couple of cats attacking them...
I got a huge bucket of water and chucked it on the cats...
When they went i had a look at the nests and all the birds had gone...
Sad really...
