In an ideal world if i was manager of these teams these are the players i would sell and buy to give myself the best.

I think Everton definitely need to strengthen as this has been a season with more than a bit of luck. Chelsea still need more in midfield. Arsenal and newcastle are dodgy at the back. Liverpool obviously require width.

Man utd

Out:

Brown
Veron
Fortune

(27 mill)

In:

Hargreaves
Forsell
Van Buyten
(25 mill)

Arsenal

Out:

Wiltord
Kanu
Cygan
Parlour
Lauren
(20 mill)

In:

Sagnol/Carr
Terry/Mexes
Kleberson
Agahowa
(28 mill)

Newcastle:

Out:

Just a few crap fringe players

(2mill?)

In:

Terry
(12 mill)

Chelsea:

Out:

Zenden
Melchiot
possibly Hasselbaink (depending on fitness of forsell and development of cole)
Zola (retire, its gonna happen i reckon)

11 or 23 mill

In:

Van der Vaart
Geremi (depending on other sales and Finances)
(20 mill)

(if money was very tight i'd consider stealing steed Malbranque and Cafu (7mill))

Liverpool:

Out:

Diao
Heskey
Berger
Smicer
Traore

(14 mill)

In:

Zenden (arguably a risk)
Rommedahl
Fadiga
(21 mill)

Everton:

Out:

Rooney (one of the few players who could pull a big fee at the moment, cos of the hype)

(12-15 mill? very hard to predict)

In:

Dawson (forest)
Dunn (blackburn)
Phillips (when Sunderland go down)

22 mill

Agree? Disagree? Think something is crazy or stupid? (more than likely)

I heard Djibril Cissé in an interview saying that he would love to move to Liverpool, but after Liverpool disappointing season I think he would now be more likely to go to Arsenal.

It's likely that Quinton Fortune WILL be leaving Old Trafford this Summer. But he'll be going for free, as his contract's running-out, and he won't be able to get a new Work Permit after having played so-few games.

But I don't really see how anyone else, other than Chadwick and Webber will be leaving. Other than Blanc, who's retiring.

But what about Djibril Cissé?
Top-scorer in the French First Division... Every top-team's dream!
I'd love to see 'United get him, but I can only really see him going to Arsénal, to join up with the French revolution there. :P

for arsenals sake... i would say we need to launch a big bid for a central defender at the end of the season (mexes looks good, but i would prefer to see someone english, difficult) and a big bid for paul robinson(even though taylor looks reasonably good. coincidentally, i have been particularly watching lauren and my verdict is that hes not great there but hes good enough to play and he has done some pretty good work at times. as for wiltord i would say he was quite good last year and he seems to be a useful squad player. kanu, im indifferent. i love the flair, but hey, who can better okocha?(a long time joy ever since five or so years ago). basically i want the defence to get a good young face or an unbelievebly good player. not some flogged off fringe player. (difficult, but wenger is pretty damn good at the wheeling and dealing. anelka, henry, vieira, petit.

I reckon we'd be better of exchanging hasselbaink. athough we need cash, cash isn't forthcoming for players at the moment, although we might not get much, he is worth more and we could probably extract some reasonable deals. I heard alencia were interested, due to there top scorer getting 12 goals last season, if they can work something with either Baraja or Kily gonzalez coming our way, i'm very interested.

As a chelsea fan, I went to see his first game for the first team at the tender age of 16, and he is quality if ever i've seen it. We're not 'not playing him' we've sent him to germany to gain more experience. I dont' think there is any way we'll sell him. hopefully we'll get riddy of Hasselbaink, we'll be lucky to get £6m for him.....

forsell should have been signed by man utd earlier in the season. He is a player of unquestionable talent, he has proven that he can score in england (and thats from the subs bench) and i reckon man Utd could have picked him up pretty cheap as he was out earlier in the season and chelsea would probably have done something stupid like sell him as it would have seemed a good option as they want cash. He is also eligible for champions league what a steal he would have been in january

The Forsell one still makes me laugh...

We dont need another Forlan type player that is still learning the game. And Forsell is even less experienced than him.

Probably means nothing, but Rooney is worth £18M for me on CM4 in the 2nd season. I'll try and see how much i can flog him for on there.
