Got to do a graphics project and this is one of the options we can use to create it.
Any help, links or someone to ask things to would be appreciated.
In java you would need to define the surfaces, hidden line removal, shading etc to try create it.
With the 3d modelling package you just add the objects and move them to how you want them to appear. Then export them to mess around with various other packages to get it the way you want it.
We can do it in Java, VRML or using a 3d modelling package.
I can only guess that they use VRML as they have the software on the PC's to use it. That and the fact that teaching something totally new and much harder would take too long and may not benefit everyone.

??? VRML is dead.. no one and I mean NO ONE I now in the industry uses it at all. How old is this syllabus. VRML came, stayed for 30 seconds and dissappeared
