Hi, i'm doing a little something at my school. I need some ironic statements. If you know any, can you please put them here.

No, that's from the Alanis school of "unfortunate" irony.

A man with a nut allergy is lost and hungray in a desert, a plane flys over and spots him lying there tired hungray so one of the pilots throws a bag of food out of the plane as they circle around to get help, the bag contained monkey nuts.

Some people in Iraq think that if they die for a cause they will be rewared with many half naked women.....if they want that why do they make their women all ragged up and covered?

Joke? Nothing is funny if your have to spell it out. Understanding irony? Use a bloody dictionary, not an on-line forum.

How about the irony of someone slow hand clapping someone for reiterating his own joke?

Skarra is doing a project at school and so may not have the best developed concept of irony, else why ask for help?

Wouldn't want to look to that song for inspiration, now, would you?
