I am thinking about getting Ridge Racer V but I have not seen a good review of it. Has any one got it and is it any good? I enjoyed the other incarnations of it so what is this one like?

I have it, and I like it.
If you liked previous games, you'll love it - apart from the enhanced graphics, it's more of the same - which is both good and bad at the same time!

If you want to buy a racer now, then go ahead with RRV, but if you don`t mind waiting, then Wipeout Fusion will hopefully be out soon, followed by GT3 in June (?? Hopefully!), and I can almost guarantee that both games will easily out do RRV in all good categories (other than the category for being a ridge racer title).
The other options around at the moment include Wild Wild Racing which ain`t that good, so go with RRV.
