“5…4…3…2…1…whoooooshhhh…BOOM!!!” And we start the show with a massive bang as the familiar count down and pyro hit – it’s bWo member Chris Jericho (Figo)! As he cockily struts to the ring showing off his muscles, a video is shown from last week where he and the bWo destroyed Booker T (RM18), even using a flamethrower on him! We’ve heard that if Y2J uses such a weapon again he will be suspended, but do the bWo listen to authority?
“I’m the king of the world!” He screams as he enters the ring, and another video is shown, this time of him, RVD (AfroJoe) and LL Cool TT getting involved in an all-out brawl with Hogan (Asher D), Austin (Jericho15) and Booker T (RM18) – the bWo have certainly made an impact, and it’s no surprise considering they plan to take over the whole of SRW! This is a huge opportunity for the bWo, imagine if Y2J (Figo) is in the triple threat SRW Title match at NHB – it’ll end up being a handicap match against Austin (Jericho15)! But firstly he has to win here tonight, and then again next week against either Benoit (Grandprix) or Booker (RM18).
“IF YA SMELL, WHAT THE ROCK, IS COOKIN’!” A huge roar goes up from the sell-out crowd here at SRW, because it’s The Rock (Starlight)! He’s been out of action recently after an utterly brutal feud with RVD (AfroJoe) resulting in a couple of serious injuries – but now he’s back and ready to go, and he’s definitely got all the fans behind him! He’s desperate to beat RVD (AfroJoe) so he can regain his SRW Title, so this is his chance to get into that triple threat at NHB.
“DING DING!” As the bell rings I would just like to remind you that no one is allowed to interfere in this match, and that includes the bWo! Anyone who does will be indefinitely suspended.
Chris Jericho (Figo) looks for the early advantage and gets it, knocking The Great One down with a flying clothesline, and then another! But Rock is straight back up and delivering those right-hands to the fans’ delight! He whipsY2J into the ropes and nails a perfect Powerslam! Jericho (Figo) staggers up but Rock (Starlight) continues the assault, forcing the bWo member back into the corner. He lays the smackdown once again, the final punch sending the self-confessed living legend flying out of the ring!
Rock (Starlight) slides underneath the ropes to join him, but Y2J (Figo) suddenly reacts and hits a Low Blow – the ref couldn’t see because it was on the outside! Devious but effective tactics by Jericho (Figo), and know he drops Rock neck-first on the security barrier! He then picks him up, and sends him flying head-first into the steel steps – CRASH!!!
The cocky Jericho (Figo) does a few press-ups on the outside, “oh yeah baby! I’m the best!” He throws Rocky back into the ring and makes a cover, but only getting a 1-count, his boastfulness possibly costing him there. He whips Rock (Starlight) and delivers some harsh knife-edge chops – “WHOOO!” He then mightily throws him into the opposite turnbuckle, and The Great One crashes painfully shoulder-first into the steel pole!
“Oh yeah! The new no.1 contender is right here baby!” Jericho (Figo) screams, and the audience replies with a cacophony of boos and jeers!
But The Rock (Starlight) suddenly leaps to his feet, and takes Y2J (Figo) down with a big clothesline! And then another! The fans cheer wildly as The Rock (Starlight) plants Jericho (Figo) with a huge DDT – WHAM! Rocky is on fire!
He whips a stunned Y2J (Figo) into the ropes and tosses him high over his head – Back Body Drop! Jericho (Figo) just won’t stay down though, until Rock (Starlight) nails a textbook Backdrop Suplex – Y2J landed right on the back of his head!
And now Rock (Starlight) wants to finish the match off, he’s going for the Sharpshooter – but Jericho (Figo) rolls through it and goes for the WALLS OF JERICHO! But Rock (Starlight) counters into a small package, 1…2…
Kick-out! Jericho (Figo) leaps up and tries to gain some speed by bouncing himself off the ropes, but he runs straight into a massive SPINEBUSTER! PERFECT EXECUTION!

No, he reaches the bottom rope with a great effort, before escaping to the ring apron to try and recover! Jericho (Figo) is p!ssed but he’s not done, as he looks for an amazing Springboard Dropkick – but Rock (Starlight) ducks it and Jericho (Figo) lands painfully on the canvas!
Rock (Starlight) is back in the ring and stalking Y2J (Figo), who stands, and turns straight into the ROCK BOTTOM – WHAM! MASSIVE IMPACT!

Wow. What a way to start of this mini-tournament. This feud is certainly getting hotter, and I guess I kinda like it, although I haven't really been following due to various reasons. That was a top match, and it was very what, end-to-end stuff, so to say. Well, you get what I mean. Great victory for the Great One. RVD has once again done one over Rocky. Look forward to seeing Rock's opponant, should be a great final, with the winner advancing to the triple threat match come No Holds Barred!

Either men could have won here today, but in the end the victory goes to Rock (Starlight), he’ll be in next week’s final! The question now is who will he…wait, looks who’s running down the ramp! He steps down, turns, and CLANG! MASSIVE SHOT RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES – ROCK (STARLIGHT) HAS BEEN CUT WIDE OPEN BY THE SRW CHAMPION! RVD (AfroJoe) and Chris Jericho (Figo) look down at the fallen victor and laugh, they may have lost the match, but RVD (AfroJoe) has certainly sent a message to The Rock (Starlight) here tonight.
