Maybe someone might be able to offer something useful with problem: Something screwy was going on with all my icons (got a nasty virus- I am quite well-innoculated, now), so I had to go through...[I'm running Windows 98]...all my file types and reset the associations to default. This got all of my icons back the way they were supposed to be...BUT (and a big one, too): now when I try to open all (not at once) my icons, one of three things happens: 1) It opens 2) The "Find Files" GUI pops up 3) The "Backup" GUI asserts itself. This is not good. I did some checking. The offendors had something wrong with the shortcut menus: the wrong options were in bold. Windows Help (yeah, right!) is no help; has nothing on the topic. One IT fellow has been working on the problem without success. Any suggestions that don't involve me pulling my neck out of a place it shouldn't be?

What do you mean when you say "Open all your icons"?
