I haven't played a new game in ages. I haven't heard any worthwhile console or computer news in ages. I haven't bought a new or even an old console since the Dreamcast.
Which leaves me with - what? I can't write any reviews for new games, I can't talk about amazing news that I just heard about the demise/start up of a company or a new game.
All I can say is that gaming is brilliant, and without it I wouldn't have anything better to do with my spare time. Sure, my friends all come around and play with my games and yes, I get nagged by my girlfriend for having my PC on longer than she has eastenders omnibus on for, but I'm happy playing my small selection of games and coming home from work to kick ass after some serious grief from the boss.
So there you go, play games and be happy people, for there will always be a new console around the corner, and you will always want that new game that came out today, but live in the now!

I've got a suggestion, why don't you just kick your boss, then you'll have plenty more time to play those games?
