I stumbled across the rarest of luxuries,
It was scarlet, uncooked, meat
Beef - If I remember accurately.
I sampled this foodstuff,
So tender, so soft,
I liked, I like a lot...
It was of an acquired taste, I thought
I could not get enough
Of this wonderful, wonderful food,
Sheep, cow, big and birds,
Sometimes devoured whole
But as I grew,
So did my flavour,
I wanted more than this standard food.
I looked for something a little closer to home...
It is bewildering, how
Both the senior people, and the juvenile
Have the same naivety...
But a completely diverse savour.
I used deception,
In order to get them into a condition, of anxiety
When they turned,
I dashed my teeth into the skull.
Screaming. Shouting.... Laughing,
As I experienced this taste, I had searched for
So tender so soft...
No cooking involved, I had adapted to
This very acquired taste.
Off the legs I fed, arms
Back, face. Spare no meat...
This taste so acquired, so tender.
I felt powerful.
But I knew my day would end sometime.
The little boy, strolling
'Come over here', ' I have something for you'
The taste, somewhat metallic,
I look up,
The boys eyes fixated on the man across the street...
We approah him.
*Sits back down to kidney and a nice chianti*
'It's of an acquired taste' says he, as he continues to feast...
