Yahoo has a nice littlepoint at the top of the page " The latest news from the Gulf straight to your mobile"
Why?
Firstly why would you want the latest news sent to you when it is all over the tv, radio and newspapers.
Also you have to pay for it and how much info can you cram into a text message.
"a bomb went boom in bagdad"

> My and my friend were laughing at an advert for a Linkin Park News
> text service that charges £2 for every bit of news you receive.
> Ludicrous.
*Linkin park have got into the car*
10 secs later
*The car is leaving*
10 secs later
*They have reached the interstate*
10 secs later
*Still on the interstate*
10 secs later
*Still on the interstate*
10 secs later
*Still on the interstate*
It's all just another shameless method of money making.
