Robert Smith, frontman of The Cure, today spoke out against Coldplay, after saying that he could remain silent no longer.
Smith emerged from his closet at 1pm, his hair an angry mess, big after a morning of furious back-combing.
As he spoke his hands remained hidden inside a huge jumper.
“I’ve heard this song by Coldplay, ‘Clocks’ I think it’s called. Anyway, the cheeky sod goes;
“Am I part of the Cure”
Well I’ll tell you this, he bloody isn’t! He’s too miserable for our band.”
Smith then disappeared back into his closet.
