The world was ending or something
And everyone was going mental and running around, blocked roads, buying food etc.
But I was having a great time actually
It was quite a nice night and I was sitting out in my front garden. I brough the barbecue, table and chairs out and set them up. Got lots and lots of alcohol, got a CD player and some of my CDs and my guitar.
I just kinda sat there all night watching everyone panic whilst I got really drunk, ate sausages, listened to music and played my guitar.
I liked it and thats what I plan to do if the world is going to die, I hope its nice weather though

To be honest, I've never been properly drunk. Because I despise the taste of it. So I prefer to drink diet coke. That, and the fact that I don't exactly enjoy the taste of my own vomit, make getting drunk less than top of my priority list. Especially if the world is ending.
And the loss of inhibitions I expect would make me even less sociable, because I can contain all my anger and sheer disgust at most people when sober - when drunk I have no idea. But then again I don't really care about what I say to people, as I generally hate them.

Drink = Fall in inhibition. Which for me makes me an average person.

Probably one of the reasons I dislike it. But there are many more.

However, I'm wondering why you act so surprised considering the majority of the country get drunk often for fun.

Getting drunk is your idea of fun? I can't think of anything less appealing.
