I have to do that with the phone. I don't actually save it though, just type it in as though I was dialling a number.
I can 'never' remember numbers or anything for that matter. I just narrow it down to "Goes through one ear and out the other".
I don't know if it's because I don't listen and concentrate or because I really can't remember.
I read about the memory for a long time ages ago. It said something like.. a trauma or accident can cause damage to the memory. Maybe something like a car accident which affects you mentally without noticing straight away.
Memory is BAD.
