I don't know whether you've noticed anything strange or 'suspicious' going-on around you're local Airpot (if you have one), but I've noticed that Bristol Airport seem to be an high-alert - like perhaps they are expecting something to happen, but they don't know when...
My suspissions started a few weeks ago, when the rumours regarding possible terrorist attacks on British Airports first started, and policemen ARMED, with guns, could be seen walking around, inside.
Then, only 15-days-ago, I look up at the night sky, at around... 8:30-ish (pm), and I see 6-or-7 planes, circling around-and-around in the sky, like they're unable to land, for some strange reason....
But in all my 5-years of living almost "next-door" to the airport, I've never quite seen anything like this...
And then there was last-week. I go out on a bike-ride, following the road that leads all-the-way-around the outside of the airport, where OAP's and plane-spotters can often be seen plane-watching, and I see Policemen all around, questioning every person, in every car, about something I have no idea what it was all about. And with so many of them around, it just looked so suspicious...
I've been watching the local news ever since then, and reading up on it too, but I can't seem to find anything on why all this has happened (except for the part about the armed Police, which was on TV a while back). And so it leads me to the suspission that they know something, or are expecting something we don't know about. Either way, they're not telling us! And it's that that gets to me most...
I'll keep my eyes peeled, and have another look-around later.
But if any of you live near airports, have you seen anything suspicious, lately??

Stansted has more security than you realise.
It's where all hijacked planes are sent in UK airspace.
besides, there's nothing there worth blowing up anyway. I live about 20 mins from there (use to be about 5 mins with pyscho ex) and it's just fields and villages.

I'm at Stansted Airport every weekend, and generally it seems fine. There was a tv crew there once, but I've not noticed security increasing at all.
