The magazine isnt that bad with reviews of Moto GP, Unreal Tournament, Final Fantasy 9, etc.. and a first look at ISS Pro Evolution 2!!
I seem to be appreciating the PS1 games alot more now I've got my PS2, although I was expecting the opposite. The game I am looking most forward to is FFIX, and my favourite game at the moment is also on the PS1 (FFVI). FFX obviously looks brilliant, but I find it hard to look forward to a game where I've only seen 10 screenshots and it's predecessor isn't even out yet.
Erm... my point was that I will buy PS1/2 mags for now, because the PS2 is mainly speculation, and little fact.
I was actually going to stop buying PSW on the very issue that they launched the cover DVD! But I was only going to stop because of the sheer number of PS mags I've been buying recently, not because of the content; I wanted to concentrate on PS2 mags.

I will admit that the DVD available with PSW is better presented than the one that is available with PSM2, but is is not the DVD I care about, it is the magazine itself. I am fed up of reading magazines where the reviewers (wether it is true or not) attempt to sound like young teenagers with a plastic gun. None of the reviews are really worth reading. Fair enough they give a fairly good impression from a young persons point of view, but I want to read adult previews/reviews where the information is displayed concisely and accurately. There are many ways which PSM2 manage to create a good information packed magazine without resorting to immaturity (This is where I apologise for calling others immature, when the tone of this message would clearly indicate that I am in no position to do so).
I read the review of Dead or Alive 2 in PSW, and there were entire paragraphs which concentrated on the "features" of the women in the game. If we wanted that kind of stuff in magazines, there are some other mags that concentrate solely on those "features". I would prefer to keep the two seperate. Both are excellent when they are alone, but I do not think gaming has reached the point that the two can be mixed.
I doubt anyone will read this, but if you do, then I hope this hasn`t offended anyone, or worse, prompted them to start a topic on "cybersex".
Anyway, in my OPINION (an opinion only, so sorry to PSW fans) PSM2 is easily the better buy.
