Lots of people good and bad are going to die without question.
So I made a cartoon to reflect my view of the situation. Enjoy.

If that were the case we'd have a second resolution by now......we don't. The US is certainly the muscle behind the UN - it provides more troops, intel and equipment than any other nation, but that counts for nothing with most people.
Shouldn't we be talking in terms of the "former UN" now ? I mean they have a building, and a flag, but nothing else of value.
Blair and Bush seem to be hellbent on fighting Iraq. All along they've made it clear they want a war, as it seems they won't be happy unless they get to topple Saddam - which won't be achieved by weapons inspectors.
On the other hand those 3 are refusing to compromise in anyway. I don't get why they are going to vetoe.
At the end of the day the United Nations is a mess and I have had confirmed to myself that the US is the UN.
At the start of all this I was heavily against war on Iraq. Now I'm less certain. I feel depending on the outcome of this war I will be able to decide at the end whether it was a good thing to do or not.
Yes Saddam needs toppling, but personally they should have toppled him a long time ago and it seems untimely that out of the blue they've decided they need to take him out. That's my view anyway.
