I agree that shigsy Miyamoto has the most classics and have revolutionised and pushesd the industry the most. Every game he make is pure genius (with only a few exceprions).
The reason i prefer sega's people (Yu Suzuki, and Yugi Naka), is because they are sooo diverse. For example, Mario and Zelda have the same style. But yu suzuki makes games ranging from Virtua Fighter, to Sega rally, to Shenmue and Daytona (all sooo different). Another thing about Yu is that he really pushes hardware (shenmue) and being a budding programmer, I love that in games. Yu Suzuki is anothere fav because his games NEVER frustrate. They are simple, yet sooo good. Ever been stuck on a puzzle on zelda- yes- ever been stuck on sonic- no. Ultimately, the zelda puzzle is more rewarding, but when relaxing i find yugi's games so much easier to play.

It's... er... me...
I can't prove it yet...
Wait a few years when I'm working for Grix/Rareware
We'll show those Japs and Yanks who make the best games!
It would have to be the guy who invented Harvest Moon, I mean it must be fun at a party with him there I mean he sounds like such a comic, I think he should have his own show! - Seriously, well Half Seriously, he could be some raving lunatic who thought it up as part of his plans for world domination!
The Game
He has, and will be, making the best 2 games ever ever ever!!!!
Nothing is in the league of MGS.
I say Shigsy anyway... Zelda and Mario have nothing in their league.
Shiggy Miyamoto.
He does deserve it.
