Rangers win the CIS Insurance Cup, 2-1.

However, there will be much controversy.

Celtic were 2-0 down, and Larsson with a beautifully timed diving header resurrects their chances.

2-1.

Then, Hartson down the center, sprinting past the defence, he has Larsson to his left, he enters the box, lays it off, GOAL!

The flag is raised. Goal denied. Offside.
Video replay shows Larsson was clearly onside, by at least a yard or two.

For Martin O'Neill - Anguish.
For Alex McLeish - Relief.

Later on, Celtic have a clear penalty claim. The ref thinks about it.
Denied.
More controversy.

Corner instead, headed from Larsson, inches wide.

Later on, yet another penalty claim.
Once again, denied. Possibly the right decision however.

Neil Lennon receives a second yellow card. Sent off.

87th minute, a 3rd penalty claim for Celtic.
It is given.

John Hartson, last weeks hero against Rangers in the league, hits it wide.
More anguish for half of Glasgow.

92nd minute, not a penalty claim, but a free-kick just outside. Sutton takes, hits Barry Ferguson, he gets knocked out momentarily.

93rd minute, a corner. Whole squad in the box, even Rab Douglas, the keeper.

Wasted. Pushing gives Rangers a free-kick. Its taken.

94th minute, full time whistle.

Ah well.

I'm telling you, they should have, they certainly should have.

They were unfairly denied a goal, due to 'offside', which it clearly wasn't.
Should have gone to extra time at least.

Thought Celtic were going to win it, but it looks like I was wrong.
