Just noticed the guy is a dead ringer for the valencia keeper Cañizares.
Niemi has been a hero for us this year, just hope we can keep hold of him come the end of the season!
Could be player of the season, certainly kept us in the game quite a few times and without him we'd be doing a lot worse.
I listened to the game on the radio and heard that he'd gone up for the corner, when the ball fell to him with that strike the commentators were going mad with excitement :D

Niemi is an excellent keeper in the Premiership. Him, Cudicini and Friedel are arguably the best this season. Other keepers would have fluffed that shot but it dipped superbly, would have been an excellent goal

He looked totally relaxed when he took the ball on his chest and shot. Brings memories of Peter Schmeichael (Aston Villa) when he scored in the last minute against Everton.
