Starship Troopers is my new favourite stratagy game. The reason I bought it was because I loved the film, and luckily the game follows the film quite a lot, althogh it does have quite a lot of elements from the book as well. It's a stratagy game that is different from others, rather than loads of people dying every second it takes a lot longer than a game like C+C where you just here a shot burst from a m.gun, and then someone screaming, then a pool of blood on the floor. You actually have to try and take good care of your troops, if they die you have to collect thir dog tags for their next of kin.

The graphics are great, the bugs look like there straight from the film. It is totally immersive, it seems quite scary. There are bits when you walk over a bridge and there are loads of warrior bugs roaming around and you keep thinking they can see you, or when you walk close to one of the HUGE plasma bugs and you think it's gonna sqish you and your troops.

The camera is fully rotatable, althogh it would be better if you could zoom out a bit more (to make it easier to find bugholes and the like). In the game you are given tasks like blowing up bugholes and killing as many arachnids as possible, on one part you have to destroy a load of plasma bugs so the MI can send down some retreival ships. You would think kitting out all of your troops would be a chore, but it's actually quite fun.
