My favourite game is Starfox Adventures,what about you?

Does anyone recommend Super Smash Bros. Melee?

It appears to be a multi-player game primarily, is it? Does is it have much life span in Single player? I played Smash Bros. on N64 and thought it was pretty good, how does this compare?
