Welcome back to Eclipse, where Terri (phi11ip) is set to interview Reaver (Ant)…

“Reaver, you’ve certainly not had a good few weeks, why do you think-AAH!”

Reaver (Ant) shoves Terri (phi11ip) out of the way, and takes the microphone himself. He then leans in closely to the camera, and begins to smiles wryly.

“It all began with that goddamn Hell In A Cell match at Spun Out…and in a rather ironic twist, it was me who organised all that. The HIAC was my idea, and I thought it would be a good opportunity for me to continue my dominance. After all, at the time I was both SRW and CAW Tag Team Champions along with Jetster. Imagine if I had become the CAW World Champion…imagine the gold! Three belts!”

“But it wasn’t to be. Hawk (AfroJoe) and Scotty Dogg (Figo) got in my way with their stupid feud, Jackal (RM18), RIA (Starlight) and even DW started running around beating each-other up, and Grandprix decided to get into my business. I’ll come back to DW later because I have some stuff to say about him, but it was Grandprix who started it all. I thought he was on my side, but nom he turned on me and eliminated me from the HIAC after I had just performed the most insane stunt ever in SRW’s history!”

“But at least I still had my belts…my tag team titles. We successfully defended them at Spun Out, and then, once again, I caused myself problems. I decided to merge the Tag Team Titles, because I never contemplated me and Jet ever losing the titles, that’s how dominating we were. Four months unbeaten. And I’m willing to admit that…maybe if I hadn’t created the 6-man elimination Hell In A Cell match in the first place I wouldn’t be in this situation…and if I hadn’t merged the titles then maybe I’d still hold a piece of gold…but it’s not all my fault. I merged the titles, so then I only had one belt…and once again Grandprix decided to step in.”

“DW and Stone Edge (Jericho15) had been worthy adversaries for the past few weeks, and I was happy to face them in a Tag Team Title match at the first PPV of 2003, Burnout. But The System Fighters? When me and Jet won the titles in the first place, we overcame them in a triple threat tag…surely they don’t deserve another chance? But, I gave it to them…and they duly accepted, defeating me and Jet twice in one night.”

Reaver (Ant) suddenly begins to laugh, “b-but, I had a plan! Another one of my so-called great plans! One week before the big match, I faced The Psychiatrist (MikeAll) in one-on-one action…and I purposefully broke his neck! Yeah, I put him out of action for months! With him gone, Grandprix had no chance, leaving us to defeat the dysfunctional DoA…obviously, DoA had the talent to give us a very tough challenge, but Anarchy is such a different person to DW…and he and Stone Edge didn’t perform together as well. Assuming Grandprix was on his own, we headed into the match as clear favourites.”

“And we lost. After being an unstoppable force for over four months, we lost to The System Fighters 3 times in a row…but no, that’s not totally true. After all, no matter how good GP is, he couldn’t beat both me and Jet at the same time…as always, he had an ace up his sleeve…or up his own árse, if you will.”

*Spattering of laughter from the audience*

“Yes, I’m talking about DW, who decided to come back for one night and send The Elements crashing to another defeat. I was supposed to one of the CAW roster’s top main eventers, and me and Jet were supposed to be the best tag team around…yet we managed to lose to Grandprix and an SRW reject (sorry DW :D). So now, the Undisputed SRW Tag Team Champions are…well, is, Grandprix. He will have to fight on his own for a while, thanks to me.”

“Onto this week…I had to get some revenge. I hadn’t won a match since, ironically, me and Grandprix won a tag match a week before Spun Out. Yes, that’s right…three months. THREE GODDAMN MONTHS WITHOUT A SINGLE VICTORY! I lost to all manner of people…” Reaver (Ant) looks at the floor gravely, “including my arch nemesis, The Cong Man.”

“The match took place yesterday as you all saw, and just like a lot of the other matches I’ve been in recently, I was pretty dominant…and still lost. I dominated the Cong Man, but he beat me. We dominated the Tag Titles match, and got beat. And yesterday, Grandprix beat me fair and square, and this is the lowest I have ever been.”

Reaver (Ant) looks back up at the camera, “but it’s time for a new start. I’m not gonna change anything – I’m still leader of The Elements, tag team partner of Jetster, and still the CAW Commissioner. I’m still an unfair, unforgiving son-of-a-b!tch…but I’m gonna start winning again. After all, what’s stopping me? I’ve been successful before, I’ll do it again.”

“But now, I have new motivation…I lost my CAW World Title over a year ago, and it hurts to be without it. I’m the self-confessed biggest heel here in SRW…but I have been doubting this recently. How can I be the biggest, when guys like Hawk (AfroJoe) and Stone Edge (Jericho15) are winning huge matches all the time? Now it’s time for me to prove myself, starting next week when myself, Jetster and RawIsAndy (Starlight) team up to take on Da Animalz Of Doom (Cong Man and Scotty Dogg) and Anarchy (DW). There’s no particular reason for this match and no particular reward for victory either, but it has many purposes. It gives me a chance first-hand to look at our supposed new CAW Title contenders RIA and Anarchy, gives Jet another shot at the latter, gets huge fan favourite Scotty Dogg back into action and gives myself a chance to get back to winning ways in the biggest possible match. I’m sure you’ll all enjoy it.”

“Hawk (AfroJoe), I’m coming for you, and that CAW World Title. Grandprix, I’m still there…no matter how many times you beat me, I’ll always be there…ready to take your titles and career at any time. Oh, and one more thing…the bWo? You wanna take over SRW? Well, come and get it, punks.”

Reaver (Ant) shoves the camera out of the way, and storms off.

Now...if I was head writer...this would all lead to a 'Reaver is cracking up' angle, he would go to see a psychiatrist, thus opening up a feud with The Psychiatrist...damn i'm good.

Good promo Ant. The 6 man match it leads to sounds good - It will make a good main event next week. It should be interesting to see if Reaver can turn himself around again..!

Again, the DoA thingy...very true. Anarchy and Stone Edge have nothing in common in fighting style. Heh.

The Same reject that beat you in a street fight? The same reject that defeated you in the tag team titles? :cD Eh? Eh?

Sounds like one hell of a battle. I look forward to it. Should be interesting to see how Da Animalz and Anarchy can team up. Either team could win this, as both have high classed wrestlers.

Very good promo. Certainly covered a lot of areas. This has pushed the feud between Reaver and Grandprix that little bit furthur. Well done Anteh.
