Grown men discussing the future of their countries revert to name calling and insults.

*shakes head*

And on the other side of the planet we sit discussing in rational terms what could be alternatives to armed conflict.

You're not allowed to acuse an MP of being drunk so George Galloway said:

" It seems the honourable gentlemen is swaying in the non-esistent breeze "

Well, they could at least have insulted each other using more effective words if they were going to insult each other at all.

And here is another reason why politics is just a whole load of smoothly released excretia.
Some seem to think that just because we have prime ministers and presidents that they're not actually humans, when they plainly are. They have every bit of revenge, jealousy and hatred in themselves as every other person, so thinking their not ever going to act to simply please themselves, which most people do, is plain ignorance. Hence George Bush, he doesn't want to disarm Saddam because he's an insane demoniac holding weapons of mass destruction, he's just using him to soothe the pain of the shocking September 11th incident...plus he's from Texas (they're all mad!)

For many a time and I don't really know why, I used to think politicians and people in high power were all good people who wanted the best for their people. Now I know how ignorant that sounds. Maybe it's because I'm privileged to be living in a country where things are more stabilised and where the authorities don't kill for money, that I thought that way.

Hilarious, in an upsetting, possibly disturbing, kind of way.

Monkey is a poor insult considering that we all are monkeys anyway. Call someone David Dimblebee's Dung beetle or maybe a slop Badger and you'll make them weep with shame.

“Whilst my right honourable good friend makes a good point, I believe things should, nay must continue in the same way”.

If you look three quarters of the way down the page at the picture its as though the man is bein told off by his dad over a new '3' video phone.

Then again, The House of Commons involves a load of backbenchers jeering like schoolkids so why wouldn't other people resort to name calling?

We're all human, you bunch of mangy hounds!

I think debates in the House of Comons would be much more interesting if it went more along the lines of:

"I think the Prime minister is a lying, cheating **** concerned more with his image than the state of the nation."

"Well, Iain, I think you're **** at leading your party, and so does the rest of the country, so sod off."

Glad i kno my life is in the hands of responsible mature adults.

Glad to see those who attend Yale, Eton and all the other world leader creating schools/colleges are getting a first class education.
