Been playing the original today.
8 player co-op on it would just be stupid. Even with shared lives.
2 player co-op makes it easy enough.

Well seing as the PC version is 16 player co-op, I'm guessing they're talking about online....they better be.

One of the PS2 versions has 8 player online apparently.
Do they mean 'proper' co-op or just team deathmatch though?
