Yea, Like last season they've built up what they had last season, A good 4th place in the league and a champion's league spot. :)
They've done built on that this season to even gain up to a 3rd place spot, And again a Champion's league spot which is great. Another chance i suppose :) But maybe they'll have to be lucky again to get through the 1st phase :P

I was very surprised to see Inter Milan score one-goal - let alone 2!
With just Vieri in the attack, and everyone else out injured, I really couldn't see Newcastle failing to win; going on to the Quarter-Finals of the Champions' League.
However, after having been out of the competition for a good-few-years now, Bobby Robson's side have done a bloody good job this season, and surely deserved even better.
Maybe next season, then?

If UEFA act anything like the English FA, they'll fine someone £5,000, which will certainly ensure that it never happens again...

I can't quite see Inter losing to Bayer Leverkusen.
Well, if Inter win against Leverkusen in thier last game then Newcastle will be out even if they stuff barcalona 4-0!
