The end of Season One is nigh, and it ends after Wednesday's match result comes through. This will see whether Mandatare has secured a victory, or whether phi11ip can pull through and grab the crown.

So, what next. I'm planning a set of competitions up, in the hope that it will feel more like the real thing.

Firstly, the FA Cup. You all start with a set number of points, and the bottom 3 each round drop out, until we whittle it down to a final.

Then, after that, a one-off tie between the league winner and the FA Cup winner. A bit like the Charity shield. Over 3 matches, it will decied the winner.

Then Season 2. Season two will start as soon as the first round of the FA Cup has finished, and will run simultaneously as the later stages of the FA Cup and the Charity shield eventually.

Then the European Cup, also during Season 2. Foreman, listen up. I want to take the top 8 from my league, and the top 8 from yours, and put them together for an FA Cup style tournament. My style of rules, though, with the bet being on who wins. It also doesn't matter if someone is in twice - they get two 'teams' in the league.

Season two ends about 3 matches after the European Cup final.

(Foreman, you okay with the European Cup thing? Plus, if you steal any of my ideas, I'll kill you ;-D)

You are bound to have some of the same players in the top 8 of each

When the new Goalfest league starts, you'll find that it won't just be about betting points. I have come up with an idea, which you won't know about until June/July.

What's happening with the points once the season is over?
If they are voided, surely everyone should bet all their points on the next bet.

As for european cup idea, great idea.
i don't do foreman's bet league so i am happy to represent you with honour

As for wenger and fergie's mind games, surely the games will start between me and phillip.
Plus i go on holiday tomorrow so i'm making my bet now in this account ok?

Only time will tell, and come next season Asher D will start to feel the pressure, as I aim to improve the Goalfest bets and get more people.
