One of my idols as a kid died.
Barry Sheene the former world motorcycling champion passed away after a long fight with cancer.
When I was young (between about 2 and 6) I spent a lot of time in hospital and had a thing for toy motorcycles. Had this small bag with loads of them in it which I took everywhere and the best one out of them was one of Barry Sheene. Also used to watch the races on the tv even though nobody else in my family really liked it.
I'd just like to say thanks to him for the memories and helping make things a little easier. Someone I always looked up too and am sad to see go. Rest in peace.
