Its not getting me Im off for a while to chill!
PSO is a great example of offline play...YES OFFLINE, people train their rangers and amazons or whatever and raise their points up...after they have hit level 80-90 they go on-line and kick butt.
Simple.
Games that have both are good and I just can't wait to see what Nintendo and Rare offer. Imagine it, On-Line Perfect Dark 2...On-Line Metroid...it will be gaming heaven.
BUT having said this Offline gaming will hold its place, people will want to play on their own, the more on-line servers there are the more cheating file editing and illegal stuff will take place. But it isn't all bad, there will be loads of places where you can train interact and meet new e-friends...as well call them.
Offline gaming is just as important!
For me,my social life has been in tatters over recent months thanks to segas amazing Phantasy Star Online,Cheers Sega...And i believe that our social lives will be crashed when online gaming does finally take place in England where we are taking part in major tournaments instead of going to America to compete.Online games will crush the community,it will only take a matter of time before this revolution takes place.
