I'll bet that if things had gone differently, and somehow it was Man U with a replay against Chelsea while Arsenal were already through, he would be praising replays to the stars.
And Sunderland have said that they hope to have a new manager in-place....
Oh, sod-it! I'll start a new topic for this! :P
I didn't know that. Will they now beg forgiveness from Peter Reid?
I think replays should stay there on the off chance that a smaller team makes it to the quarters/semis...
I've always thought it was a bad idea, especially so-close to the Final.
When I watch an FA Cup tie - especially between 2 'big' Premiership teams, I want to see it over on the same day it started. Yes, even if Penalties and Extra Time are both required. Just as long as there's no 'Golden Goal' ruling in-place.
But saying that... I seem to remember watching a highly-entertaining FA Cup Semi-Final betweem 2 'top teams' back in '99... ;)
And just out of interest, what was Wenger's reaction prior that that Replay at Villa Park, back then? Anyone remember??
And anyway, I don't see what he's so bothered about!
The Premiership will soon be Arsenal's (more-or-less) within another 3 games, probably. And it's not like they're going anywhere in the Champions' League either! :)
> Well, this is sort of the same thing but between managers of football
It would be, if Alex didn't punch like a girl. :-)

Of course. If it gets too much hassle, don't aske for changes - just don't play! At least if Wenger had made that decision this year, United may still have a trophy to play for! ;-p
