Is this another series that's been cancelled like Odyssey 5 (see my post elsewhere in this forum) and they've decided to start firkin' around with timeslots?
And legitimate answers only please... don't bother with any derogatory comments about the show...

Depends on what rights they have at the moment. They may only be allowed to air so many episodes up to a certain date. Look how Andromeda and Mutant-X have been off for a few months due to breaks. Mutant-X is now back on Sky One but Andromeda is'nt.
I can understand them putting it on later if the content requires it, but I still don't see the need for the break.
Mind you, isn't next Friday Comic Relief? Maybe they're putting a film on to counter that? Don't see why though - would be nice to have something on worth watching while BBC fill up an entire night with the crapfest that will be 'RND03'.
Fastlane already has 16 aired episodes in the US and more new episodes are still coming. So expect Fastlane to reach the normal 22 episodes for the season. Don't know whether it will be picked up for a 2nd season but the viewing figures in the US have been pretty good.
You'll have to keep an eye out in case Sky One actually changes its mind and airs Fastlane on Friday as usual.
