Can anyone tell me why Sky One have decided that Fast Lane won't be back until Saturday 29th March, and at midnight?

Is this another series that's been cancelled like Odyssey 5 (see my post elsewhere in this forum) and they've decided to start firkin' around with timeslots?

And legitimate answers only please... don't bother with any derogatory comments about the show...

Depends on what rights they have at the moment. They may only be allowed to air so many episodes up to a certain date. Look how Andromeda and Mutant-X have been off for a few months due to breaks. Mutant-X is now back on Sky One but Andromeda is'nt.

Sorry, my mistake... I knew it was 22nd - no idea why I put 29th!

I can understand them putting it on later if the content requires it, but I still don't see the need for the break.

Mind you, isn't next Friday Comic Relief? Maybe they're putting a film on to counter that? Don't see why though - would be nice to have something on worth watching while BBC fill up an entire night with the crapfest that will be 'RND03'.

Its actually the 22nd. And I dont know why. I know an upcomming episode has Billie going undercover to find out why lesbians are being targeted for something. But going by http://www.tvtome.com/ (Space) Fastlane/season1.html this seems to be the episode after the next. But this does see some Drug cartel so maybe Sky One decided to air it later. But if you actually read the Sky magazine it mentions the last episode of the month to be episode 12. Episode 9 was on last Friday so with Sky having the break they can't fit the episodes in.

Fastlane already has 16 aired episodes in the US and more new episodes are still coming. So expect Fastlane to reach the normal 22 episodes for the season. Don't know whether it will be picked up for a 2nd season but the viewing figures in the US have been pretty good.

You'll have to keep an eye out in case Sky One actually changes its mind and airs Fastlane on Friday as usual.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
