Wedding receptions are great!
Last night amate of mine rang to remind me that that evening we were invited to another mates wedding reception. Now, I haven't seen much of this guy ina while, and I must have met his now newly wed wife on a total of three occasions previously, if that. We went and said our congratulations before entering the hotel function room and finding a dark corner to sit in and quietly get drunk.
I loved it. I loved watching the families and friends and trying to guess who they were. Listening to the DJ pump out what can only be described as pure Camambert, and watching a bunch of "adults" all trapped in a room together getting slowly, but surely p!ssed.

Nah, we were trying to get her together with one of my other mates. Not sure of the outcome yet. Besides, if I was going to "forget the girl friend" (which I'm not) there are better conquests I might take up.
