To remove dust from your ps2 get the vac u need one which has a suction pipe on run it across all the vents and the fan hopefully this should get rid of most the dust.Dont take it apart as the warranty will be void

Never cleaned mine.
Works fine.

Sometimes I blow the fans, but that's private.

My PS2 survived when the shop underneath me burnt down and everything in my flat was covered with a thick oily layer of smoke dust. I was convinced the PS2 lens would be useless, but it has never let me down yet.

I've never cleaned mine either and never had a problem with my PSX or PS2, had my PSX 8 years now and haven't had a glitch with it yet.

I haven't cleaned my PS2 ever and I've got a launch day machine, still going strong with no problems.

You people must live in some really dusty rooms with all this cleaning going on!
