My friend has dtt3500 connected to his pc,they are alright sounding and the bass will be sufficient for most people but if you really like your bass they may not be enough but they have loads of features and I definately reccomend them as the best audio solution for ps2 ownwers much better than the crap ps2000,buy them you will not be dissaponted however they are only 80 watts rms and they are designed for a small room (where a pc is typically situated) so don't expect to fill a large room with sound

Dave.

Nice one my son - I was about to fork out £250 squid!

Obviuosly I'm looking for a decent Home Cinema system which
can also be connected to the PS2. I don't want some pssy
PC set-up.

Any recommendations ?

Have you asked in your local Sony Centre? I'm sure they'll have some recommendations, and you can practically guarantee it'll work with PS2!

True, they're not the cheapest, but it's well worth the money, IMHO. I'm building my set-up gradually.

Still, it was just a thought - and you may have been loaded! :-)

I have bought the Sound Station 2 system and I think its brilliant. They may not be top quality, but they come close to my Hi-Fi (150 Watts total). (Though they probably don`t go as loud).
For £45 they are perfect for gaming, because at the volumes I use it at, the sound is perfect. I don`t want my ears blasted away so they`re fine for me.
