Has anybody not seen "The Rock"?
Okay, basically it's a film about a bunch of military guys who take hostages on Alcatraz prison, and threaten to fire rockets full of chemical weapons at San Francisco if payments aren't made to themselves, and the families of men that the General has lost on various missions.
The US Government decide to send in a bunch of marines, plus Sean Connery, because he once escaped from Alcatraz, and Nicolas Cage, because he's a chemical weapons expert.
Anyway, all of the marines get shot, and it's down to Cage and Connery to find and defuse the weapons, and save the hostages.
As a game this would write itself!
Choose either Connery or Cage as the character you play, the other will follow you around, or could be used in a 2 player co-operation mode.
You have to sneak around the prison, finding the rockets, and defusing them. Whilst one player defuses the rockets, the other would stand on guard, and deal with any of the bad guys that come in.
The game would be played under a time limit, so you wouldn't be able to hang around.
There would also be plenty of puzzles, such as defusing the rockets, avoiding alarms, getting into the prison by rolling through a tunnel, avoiding flame bursts!
Anyone that has seen this film must know how great the game would be, with a mix of action, and puzzles, I think it could be an MGS beater!
