Right then, to alleviate the tedium of the war, I've decided on this unusual topic:

You have invented a time machine that can only go back ONCE to a certain point in your short, inept life. It can't go back any further than the moment you were born. And you can go back in time with the knowledge you have at this moment in time intact in your head. Don't argue because as RUN DMC put it, "that's just the way it is."

Now, think of ONE moment in the past that you regret or that you might have acted differently and tell me what happened and why you would go back to change it, and what actions you'd take to change it.

Oh yeah, no stupid replies like "I'd go back and win the lottery and spend the rest of my days snorting crack off beautiful Brazilians' breasts while being sucked off by Kylie" because it has to be about your own life, not external actions. Also, because that's a cop out.

Ok? You understand? Good. Take all the time you need to compose ONE reply (of course you can discuss it all you want but I don't want anyone listing a plethora of things they'd change) and then tell me about it.

After thinking about this I wouldn't go back and change anything about my life personally. All past decisions, good or bad, actions etc. have shaped who I am today and although there are occasions when I think 'I wish I hadn't done that' I wouldn't actually undo or change anything.

I would have to give the machine away. Unless I could have two goes which meant I could go back and save my mother, more for my fathers sake, or my brother in law, for my sister, who both died needlessly less than 6 months apart.

That's depressed me now.

I would honestly go back to being eight years old and just enjoy being a child again - no responsibility, no pressures, beautiful.

And the Krypton Factor would still be on the telly.

Easy, getting back together with Kerry "psycho" Roberts.

After finally getting over the worst breakup of my life, within months I found myself in a compromising position with a girl who was then just 17 while I was... *counts fingers* about 20. I should have known at the time that getting involved was quite possibly the least intelligent thing I could have done, but instead of walking away, a voice in the back of my head said "hur hur" and before I knew it, I'd been stuck with her for two unbearable years.

*shakes head*

I think I'd have left 10 minutes erlier on the day I had a near fatal motorbike accident. Then I would have my memory back, no metal plates in my body and I'd still have the bike, a truly stunning RGV250.

that would be good! but perhaps if you could use the time machine a number of times!

Its like on tv, they go back in time, but what is so silly is that they invent a time machine and only use it to go back a few years! why not go to 4005 or something or even go back in time 20 million years??? silly really!
I guess the producer could not create that sort of environment and would not know what it would be like back then! Or what it will be like in the future...
