i recently downloaded e donkey ( or mule) with it comes the usual 10000000 pieces of ad ware.
i used adware remover software to get rid of most of it
but now i have this banner at the bottom of my screen everytime i open a browser and i cant get rid of it.

It would have been eDonkey if anything, but I don'r recall even eDonkey being supplied with adware.
