Woke up as normal, had a 9am lecture, so had to be up at 8. Was knackered, so thought "I'll just lie here for a minute more" Then proceded to fall asleep and had a dream where people were saying what was coming out of the radio.
My mate (in the dream) started singing Justin Timberlake. He's a bit of a goth, so it was quite amusing.
Anyway, wake up properly at 8:40. OhBugger. Jump out of bed, no time for a shower - breakfast is far more important as I have 9-1pm straight on wednesdays.
Jaggedly cut two slices of bread to put in the toaster, only when I turn the toaster on, it trips the flat out. So I stumble around in the dark and reset the box thingy. Try the toast again. Flat trips again. Fudge this for a laugh, I'll have bread with marmalade on instead of toast. It's rough. Toast is the only way to go in the morning, unless you're having a bacon sarnie...
Get to lecture. Electronic devices. This means loads of analogue electronics. Don't understand anything. Spend the 4 hours hungry and tired.
Go home for lunch. Come back into uni to do some work on my project. NEtwork is really busy and the software doesn't like it. Spend an hour on here instead.
Get bored, go home and have a cup of tea, then a kip. Suddenly decide to go to the gym by myself. Normally go with my flatmate as I find it easier to keep motivated.
Get to the gym, there seems to be an abundance of fit women about. Curse that I don't have contact lenses, as I never wear my glasses in the gym.
Leave the gym and I'm boiled, but it's raining softly. Feels great, really relaxing and nice. It's a kind of contradiction on my face. Get an idea for a short story about contradictions while I'm walking home. Don't do anything about it (yet).
Get home, have a shower and dinner, then come back into uni again to do my project work, hoping the labs are more empty and the software works. Get a feeling I may well spend too much time on here and not enough on my project though...
My typical day?
06.15 Wake up and force myself out of bed. Have a shower, shave and ****. Not in that order though. Put on my suit, check I've got my word id, money, book for the train and walkman.
06.45 Head downstairs and get some breakfast. I need a decent breakfast or I'll starve at work. Munch my boiled egg, toast and bowl of cereal, washed down with a glass of milk, whilst watching the latest update on the impending war on BBC1.
07.15 Get a lift off my dad to the train station (Luton). Smoke a cig on the platform and get on the 7.25am train to Kings Cross.
8.15 Change onto the tube and get off at Green Park. Walk to work.
08.30 Get into work. Grab a coffee (free tea, coffe, soft drinks, juice, biscuits - nice!) Sit down to check what all the other SR people are up to. My day doesn't start until 9.00am
09.00 Get down to some real work. I won't bore you with the details. Occasionaly check the forums to think up of new ways to insult Top Spore.
13.00 Lunch is spent in front of my computer. No need to go anywhere unless I have to saunter up to Oxford Street to buy the latest game or a cd/dvd I want. No need until Metroid Prime comes out.
17.00 Work finishes but I stay back an extra hour to do some overtime and extra work I have to complete.
18.30 Get on train at Kings Cross.
19.00 Brothere/dad picks me up from the station. Get home, change out of the suit (I hate wearing suits) and go to my mum's house (parents are separated). Have dinner there, chat with my mum for a bit and then go back to my dad's house (where I live).
20.00 Listlessly sit around, read a computer mag or book for a bit. Have a blast on the GC or Megadrive. Try to write a bit more in my story. Ideas flow thick and fast.
21.30 Do some weights and then have a wash.
22.15 Read Digitiser, play some TS2 against my brother - I beat him again. He smashes me on Super Smash Bros.
23.00 Go to bed. Lie in bed thinking about my life and the endless rat-race I seem to be in. Bemoan my very existence and the fact that I've turned into someone I abhor - a suit wearing 9 to 5 mentalist. Wonder what I'd change in my life if I could go back in time 5 years and have all the knowledge I have know. Get irritated by the thought. Fall asleep. Dream about random stuff.
Repeat this proces for five days of the week.
The weekend is more favourable - go to London, spend the day round a friend's house and play football or go out.
And that's my invigorating life.
I have a slash, hop in the shower, brush my teeth, have a shave, get dressed, go downstairs, drink a glass o' water, have breakfast, read Digi (because I'm sad) whilst eating, then watch the music channels until I can be bothered to get up, put some food in my bag for when I'm at work, check I have a bottle of water with me, check I have my ID for work, have another slash, mess with my hair for a few minutes, then leave for the Metro station. No matter how late I am, I always do that, even when I know I can rush and still get there on time.
Yep, they don't call me the uber rebel for nothing! Oh, wait...
Dossed on internet for 1:15 duration of lesson...
Played Foosball in common room at break...
Went Maths, forgot Stats book so I had to share, got distracted and then teacher and the 7 of us in the class started discussing random stuff as usual...
Went to common room, won more games of Foosball, used all my money up...
Talked to head of Sixth Form who was staring at the new water cooler, there was a big leek and the carpet was soaked...
Played games on internet against other people...
got changed for games lesson after lunch, massive game of football on the Astro at lunch!
I'm crap at football but it's still a laugh!
We had a 7-a-side tournament in games...
I played in goal and was quite good!
Still, we lost!
Then I went hockey training tonight, I've cut my finger and it stings, especially because there's a load of sand in it...
I play ISS2 against my next door neighbour, draw 2-2 over 4 games of 'silly football' with edited players...
Next door neighbour goes home, I come and sit here, look at this topic and decide to write in it...
Looking into the future, I can see myself having a shower very soon, I smell...
Got up
Went to school
Pretty boring
Went to town centre, bought a CD and belt
Went home
Played Vice City
Cleaned room
Did homework
Had to leave early to make a football game, kicked of at 4.30 so I had to miss my last lecture to make it in time. Start playing and it starts to rain then from out of nowhere hail stones fall and it gets too hard to face the other goal so a break is called and we wait till the shower passes. Ten minutes later the shower eases off even though the pitch has a nice white frosting of ice.
Anyway game got back on and it was quite good. Really should do some more work but I am going to leave it till tomorrow as I am too tired and wouldn't concentrate enough.
Also when it was raining just after the hail stones there was a double rainbow in the sky, like one rainbow and then another one above it, looked very cool and very visible. Never seen that before.
