In fact, with the exception of when I recognise the screen shots or advert generally, the advert would have to SCREAM "Nintendo" or "Sega" at me for me to take any notice.
If this is the case for as many people as I assume it to be, as a general rule, only PS/PS2 owners would ever pay attention to an advert, so maybe the reason Sega and Nintendo are behind on the advertising is because it simply isn't worth it for the proportion of targeted viewers who take notice.
Or it could just be because too small a proportion of the viewers own the specific console...
But then how do they hope to expand?
