I'm having a barbeque in a few weeks time, just asking the opinions of people on here. The older, more experienced people might be able to help me - what the hell do I do? I mean, people come, and what? We lounge in the garden? I don't know really, any suggestions? There are enough people to play football or something, and I have a big enough garden, but is that the kind of thing people will do?

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the advice. Basically, we're all 15/16, but we're gonna be kegging anyway (god bless Germany :D). It'll be pretty cool, gonna invite bout 20 peeps.

I had a barbeque in the summer. It lasted three days because we bought too much meat. One thing I can recommend is to get a brewing barrel, sterilise it and then fill it with punch. Either use a recipie for punch or keep it fairly simple. White wine, orange juice, fruit and vodka for an extra kick (you are over 18, right?). If you just make it up it'll probably turn a funny colour and be generally not very nice.

Make some home made coleslaw and some sort of buffet food, pringles etc.

If you know who is coming you should know what sort of things they like doing. Don't play games too close to the barbeque though. Then just cook the food on glowing coals, they should have a white kind of powder over them, and I guess that's it.
