We're onto something.

I'm going to run for Prime Minister on my "I'll have a fight with any leader that has a problem with England" manifesto.

And just in case, I'll appoint Brian Blessed as Deputy.

And then after leading their troops into battle, the politicians should have to meet the families of those killed and explain why it was all so neccessary.

I'd like to see a return to the old style of combat involving melee weapons, horses and cannons.
With, as suggested, the country's leader at the head of the charge.

Methinks there would be a few less wars if these suits actually had to do something other than play Command and Conquer with real people's lives

That's got nothing to do with it. It's just the terminology they use. The US and Britain have got far more active nuclear weapons than any nation, including Russia.

But I think you'll find all the West's nuclear capabilities are to counter the threat of the easts.

After all, we don't have a ministry of offence now, do we.

Only a ministry of Defence ; )

And of course, Kings and rulers should lead their troops into battle...

Wonder how long Bush would last leading the US elite Navy Seal Axemen into battle against the Iraqi Black Scimitar platoon?
