Does anyone know if there are any plans to make the sequel to this fantastic series? I got the series on DVD a few years back, and now it has been repeated on Sky it reminded me that the ending seemed to be geared to towards creating a sequel.

Too true. If they could come up with another story-line like that, then they're on to a winner.
I was wondering the same thing, I also have the novel version which differs slightly, but it too indicates it is not the end of the story. Here's hoping Sky stop doing various idiot celebrity/real life based programs and start doing something of entertainment value.
