Yes it's Turner Prize time again.

This year the winner,Mark Leckey, is actually pretty interesting, using well known comic characters for one of his his displays. (He does look a bit like a hairdresser though).


So what do you think of the exhibits or the awards given for some of the strange works?

Sorry, but frankly 90% of the stuff here is nothing but crap. I hear that the more bad and meaningless the "art" the greaterr the chance you'll win.

If a normal person decided to put a dog crap on a wedding cake and said it was art (stating that it was to show how one of the most important days of someones life is so meaningless in modern times), i would have been mocked. But some "artist" who made something similar would be applauded.

Who ever buys this tat clearly has money to burn. What about a past winner with a flashing light in a room got him millions.

This whole thing is generally a farce at times.
