You see, following the purchases of Baldur's Gate 2 and Neverwinter Nights I have become a massive fan of Forgotten Realms RPG's. The thing is, I don't know how many Forgotten Realms (FR from now on) games there are, and which ones are any good.
I recently bought Pool of radiance for £9.99 from Gamestation, but took it back because it was tripe (The nice people at Gamestation let me swap it for Fallout Tactics). After the purchase of that it became apparent to me that not all FR games are amazingly brilliant.
So, which ones are great and which ones are pants is what i'm really asking. Any help would be appreciated.
Oh, and before anyone says, I posted this here and not in the PC forum because I want Forgotten Realms games on ANY console.
Cheers.

Yeah, I haven't really played Baldur's Gate 2 much because i've been playing NWN. I can safely say that NWN is one of the most time consuming games i have ever played.
On the back of the case it boasts 60 hours of gameplay, and I've just mainly been creating my own worlds. Fantastic :)

Planescape Torment is not a Forgotten Realms game. It uses the Baldurs Gate engine and is made by the same developers (Black Isle) but it is not set in the Forgotten Realms. I haven't played it, but it got good reviews and if you like Baldurs Gate 2 I'm guessing you'll like it.
Also, invest in Baldurs Gate and it's expansion pack (Tales of the Sword Coast, which should come with the game now as there's a pack with both the original and expansion). The original Baldurs Gate is much like the sequel, although it must be said the interface is a little more clunky, and you don't have as many character classes (no specialists within each class). But I really can't choose between the 2 games. The original had a more 'free' feel to it. In BG2 there were much fewer areas you could just go to explore. Although each area probably contains more sub-quests in BG2, in BG1 there were many more areas you could just explore. BG2 had a lot more focus on the main quest, and because a lot of the main quest didn't allow much free exploration I think it lost something. But still, BG2 did add a lot of cool new innovations as well, but I really think if you like either one of them, you should own the other as well.
But be warned. These games will eat away your life. Playing through BG1 will take at least 60 hours, probably more if you spend a lot of time doing the sub-quests. But they rule.
