Well as you all probably know Dinosaur Planet is scheduled to come out on the N64, I am not quite sure when but regardless of release dates and all that, Wouldn't you rather see it released on and with the Gamecube this Autumn?

I think that Rare could do a bit more with the speed and what have you and really boost Gamecube sales with it. I feel that if used effectively the game could be used as a very useful weapon against the X-Box. I think regardless of how good the X-Box is, people always want something new, something fresh...In my opinion a game like DP that could and probably will attract such a vast age range that it could pass as that special something.

I kinda think that maybe it would be best saved for the Gamecube. I mean there are enough buttons on the NGC controller and games can only get better...(in most cases)!

I wonder if Rare are on to this and I also wonder if Nintendo realise how much the game could help. However, If the move was to take place it could jeapordise some of the Big 'N's customers as DP was sceduled for last year orignally!

I don't quite think that Mario 128 alone will do the trick, I DO NOT think that it would sway undecided customers to the Gamecube...BUT if Dinosaur Planet was to be put forward with it I think that despite the Samey feeling to Mario...people would look to the better side of the Gamecube with good early games like DP.

I think that Playstation went wrong here, and although their games sold, I think that first impressions are very important and if gamers feel that they are only buying a name they might hold on to the rest of their money and wait for the Gamecube or X-Box.

Also, despite the recent console wars, i think that bias and all the console war banter will soon be taken down a level as people will tend to agree on both the ability and gameplay provided by all 4 next - gen consoles.

I think that although Sega and possibly SONY are dropping out of the console crown chase, Nintendo and Microsoft
