1 - Some DVDs (when played through a TV, without a surround sound system) sound just fine, but others have a very low level of sound for actors voices (when everything else is fine). Anyone know why ?
2 - When I play some DVDs, through the PS2 hooked into my stereo (basic enough stereo with surround sound capabilities) I cannot get any decent sound levels at all (only a very faint sound signal). In fact I was watching "Frequency" last night... The DVD title screen and opening credits had a great sound level through my stereo but once the movie proper started I could barely hear a thing (and the Stereo wasn't showing up any sound inputs on its display). No I also watched "the patriot" with the very same setup and it sounded great.
Any ideas ?
