I'm science-minded. Physics is my best subject at school, and I have no artistic qualities whatsoever (Including Music). I'm actually stumped at the moment. I have no idea what the hell I'm going to do career-wise. Physics will allow me to branch out into many career paths, but I'm worried. If I choose a certain career path, and then I decide later in life that it was the wrong choice, I'm screwed.
Does life just piece together, or is it always full of complex decisions?
:)
I'd have gotten away with it too if I'd managed to stop growing age 6...
Bah
> That just means you end up as a hobo though.
My life dream. Behind being a games journalist, of course.
'And they obey'
That way in theory when you come to make the next set of big decisions the doors you'll have closed by dropping subjects at a-level will be the kind of stuff you don't like and aren't good at, and so wouldn't have been your kind of thing anyway.
Meanwhile you'll have pleanty of time to decide what you might want to do, and the kind of stuff you chose should still be available.
Can you get to a career guidance fella? Or do one of those questionaires that suggest jobs?
Or just generally look at types of work, and think about looking for vacation work experience.
That'd be the best advice I could give. Hope it works out for you.
:^)
Take this as an example.
History.
Getting As in History at A-Level won't exactly bring in the offers. right?
But it does show that you can follow something through till the end, and it shows what sort of mind you have. I have a friend who did history in Uni and now works in a finance department in some company...
