Now for anyone who likes a good thriller, maybe with De Niro in it or maybe Sean Bean, then I'd recommend Ronin (best car chase sequences of all time).
But for me he is at his best when he teams up with director Luc Besson (Nikita/Leon). This pairing reminds me so much of the De Niro/Scorsese partnership in terms of their style and flair.
So, although he's not a 'major' Hollywood star, he's certainly one to watch for the future. Any film collection would not be complete without at least one good Luc Besson/Jean Reno film, and from the list of titles in the first paragraph above you are spoilt for choice. So go on, spoil yourself.
