Now we have reached the frontier of boradband technolgy I ask is it worth have ISDN? ASDL yes is more to install (£100 more) but it's 5 times faster and you don't get meterd charges and the line rental is the same £40 a month.
I've had this cable modem for about a fortnight now, and can't live without it. Before now my mate's ISDN was the best line anyone around here had, but now I actually get proper streaming video and sound, amazingly fast downloads and improved multiplayer games. Admittedly, you are still at the mercy of the internet, and if there's lag on any server between you and wherever the data is coming from, it slows down. Still faster than I'd hoped for, and definately worth upgrading.
